Herb Glaced Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large carrots, peeled and sliced into rings (about 3 c.)
    2/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. each: basil and oregano
    2 Tbsp. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Add 2/3 cup water to carrots; bring to a boil.
    Add butter and sugar.
    Simmer on low heat for 6 minutes.
    Add basil and oregano. Add 2 tablespoons water.
    Cover and simmer 2 minutes.
    Uncover and simmer until all liquid is absorbed.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Serves four.
