Syrup Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar cane syrup or molasses
    1/4 c. milk
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans, roasted
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine water and syrup, stirring until well blended.
    Stir in milk until blended.
