Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cocoa.
Blend in butter, milk and vanilla.
Beat 3 minutes on high speed.
Add eggs.
Beat 3 minutes longer.
Pour into floured and greased cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes on wire racks.
Remove from pans.
Cool completely.
Frost with your favorite frosting.
Makes 2 layer cake or 1 oblong 13 x 9-inch cake.
