Turnip Green Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans chicken broth
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 to 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
    3 cans Northern beans
    16 oz. ham, cubed
    2 (16 oz.) bags frozen turnip greens with roots
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Bring the first 5 ingredients to a boil and then add the turnip greens and salt and pepper to taste. Bring back to a boil; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until turnips are tender. Serve with a fresh hot pone of bacon cornbread.
