Library Soup(Serves 5) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck or round steak
    1 chopped onion
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1 large can V-8 cocktail juice
    2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pkg. frozen vegetables
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion.
    Drain off fat.
    Add the rest of the ingredients and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
    If desired, add any other vegetable from refrigerator like chopped celery, a carrot or shredded cabbage.
