Potato Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 egg whites
4 Tbsp. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
5 c. plain flour
1 c. mashed potatoes (left over creamed potatoes may be used)
1 pkg. yeast or 1 yeast cake, softened in 1/4 c. water or potato water if available
Preparation

Scald milk, sugar, Crisco and cool.
Add potatoes, flour and egg whites.
Mix thoroughly and knead until well blended.
Put in covered bowl, lightly greased for several hours or overnight. Roll and cut like biscuits.
Dip in hot Crisco and fold over.
Let rise about 2 hours.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
