Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
2 to 3 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour and cocoa together. Separate egg yolks.
Add milk to beaten yolks.
In a black skillet or pan, melt the margarine. Add the dry ingredients. Add the milk and egg yolk mixture. Stir continuously until it thickens.
Remove from heat. Add flavoring and pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites with 1/3 cup sugar, 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on pie and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
