Basic Salt Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. salt (iodized)
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt; add water a little at a time.
    Knead 7 to 10 minutes until smooth, putty like.
    Lightly oil cookie sheet. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick, cut out as desired.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until rock hard.
    Paint as you wish.
    Spray completely with polyurethane to prolong life of the ornament.
