Cabbage Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium heads cabbage
8 carrots
12 onions
8 peppers (4 red, 4 green)
1/2 c. salt
1 qt. vinegar
6 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. white mustard seed
Preparation
-
Put cabbage, carrots, onions and peppers through food chopper.
Add salt; let stand 2 hours.
Drain and add remaining ingredients.
Put in jars cold and cover with paraffin.
