Golden Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    16 oz. sour cream
    1/3 c. green onion, chopped
    1 tsp. pepper
    6 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and shredded
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine cheese and butter in saucepan; stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
    Remove from heat; stir in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Add potato, mixing gently.
    Pour into buttered quart casserole.
    Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
