Hawaiian Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (12 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained well
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts), chopped (optional)
    1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    2 graham cracker pie crusts (9-inch) or regular pie crust (but bake as directed, fork holes on entire pie shell before baking)
    green and/or red cherries, diced and drained (optional)
Preparation
    In a large bowl mix Cool Whip, condensed milk and lemon juice. Add very well drained pineapple, then add cherries and nuts which are both optional but add a great taste to this pie.
    After combining all ingredients, then pour into pie shells and chill for at least 1 to 2 hours.
    May be frozen for later use.
