Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. ground veal
    4 slices bread, cut in small pieces
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs
    4 stalks celery, cut in pieces and cooked in 2 c. water
    1 pt. milk, heated
Preparation
    If you do not have veal, use equal amounts of beef and pork. Mix meat together thoroughly; add seasoning, celery and water in which celery was cooked.
    Beat eggs and add to mixture.
    Also add bread over which the hot milk has been poured.
    If too dry, add more milk.
    Form into soft balls, roll in flour and brown in drippings.
    Make gravy; pour over balls and bake slowly for 1 1/2 hours in moderate oven.
