Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. plain flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Crisco
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. warm water
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Add yeast and buttermilk and knead until well blended.
Roll and cut like biscuits.
Dip in melted butter and fold.
Let rise until double in size, about 1 hour.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Dough may be stored in refrigerator for days.
