Diabetic Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1 c. dates
1 c. prunes
2 sticks lite oleomargarine
4 eggs or equivalent in egg substitute
2 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts (optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
-
To water add oleo.
Chop and add prunes, raisins and dates. Bring to boil; then set aside to cool.
After mixture has cooled, add remaining ingredients and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with 1 packet Equal sweetener.
