Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sweet onions, sliced thickly
    3/4 stick butter
    8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
    1 loaf French bread, sliced 1-inch thick
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 can milk
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Put in 8 x 11-inch casserole.
    Put Swiss cheese on top of onions.
    Butter both sides of slices of French bread, then cube 1-inch.
    Put on top of cheese.
    Mix chicken soup and milk together and pour over bread.
    Sit overnight in refrigerator, then bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
