Strawberry And Cream Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple (1 1/2 c.)
    2 large ripe bananas, diced
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add berries, stirring occasionally until thawed.
    Add pineapple, bananas, lemon juice and salt.
    Pour half of mixture into 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spoon sour cream over chilled gelatin, spreading in even layer.
    Pour remaining gelatin over it.
    Chill firm.
    Cut into 9 squares and serve on lettuce.
    Garnish with dollop of sour cream and a whole strawberry, split in half from top almost to bottom.
