Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. margarine or butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a 4-cup measurer, stir sugar, corn syrup and salt together. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Add peanuts.
    Stir and cook on High for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir and cook on High for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes.
    Add baking soda and stir. Pour onto lightly buttered cookie sheet, spreading out quickly. Cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Break into pieces.
