Deep Dish Apple Crisp "Williams Sonoma" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. apples
lemon juice
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Arrange in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish the apples (peeled and sliced), tossed with juice.
Mix the cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to apples and toss.
Mix with fingertips until crumbly the flour, brown sugar, pinch of salt and butter. Combine sliced almonds and sprinkle over top of the apples.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Cool and serve.
