Fig Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. figs
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 lemon
Preparation
    Put figs, sugar
    and
    lemon
    juice
    in pot and bring to boil. Then slice the
    lemon and put in and boil until bubbles come to top and burst.
    Put in jars and seal.
