Golden Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 lb. carrots, cut into chunks
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and carrots in salted water until tender. Drain. Place in mixing bowl. Add butter, sour cream, salt and pepper. Mix until well blended. Transfer to greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
