Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix, mixed according to directions
    1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt caramels, butter and milk, using double boiler, or microwave on Low.
    Put 1/2 of batter in a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Pour caramel, butter and milk mixture over baked cake.
    Sprinkle chips and 1/2 cup nuts over caramel mixture.
    Add the rest of the batter.
    Sprinkle rest of nuts over all.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
