Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut up fryer
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 Tbsp. salt
    water to cover
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. onion powder
    2 tsp. black pepper
    oil
Preparation
    Refrigerate overnight in dish the chicken, vinegar, salt and water to cover.
    In bag, put flour, onion powder and pepper.
    Coat chicken.
    Dry in deep oil for 5 minutes, until lightly brown. Place lid loosely over pan to allow steam to escape.
    Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Uncover and fry until golden brown.
