Canadian Meat Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean pork, minced
1 small onion, minced
1/2 raw potato, sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. savory (optional)
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. bread crumbs
2 pie crusts
Preparation

Put all ingredients except bread crumbs in saucepan.
Bring to a boil and cook slowly without cover for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of the bread crumbs and let stand for 10 minutes.
If the fat is absorbed by the bread crumbs, no need to add more.
Cool and pour into pie crust; add top crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden.
Serve warm.
