Baked Chicken With Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer (4 lb.) or 5 to 6 chicken breasts
    9 medium potatoes, quartered
    juice of 1 lemon (2 1/2 to 3 Tbsp.)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. butter
    salt
    pepper
    oregano
    carrots (may be used also)
Preparation
    Wash and cut chicken into serving pieces.
    Arrange in a baking dish (9 x 13-inch) and arrange potatoes around chicken.
    Sprinkle generously with oregano.
    Dot potatoes and chicken with butter. Add water, salt and pepper to taste and top with lemon juice. Bake in medium oven at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes until chicken is done.
    Baste occasionally with juice in pan.
    Serves 5 to 6.
