Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
-
Sift
flour,
soda,
baking
powder
and sugar.
Cut in shortening and add buttermilk.
Roll out to desired thickness. Cut out biscuits.
Place on baking sheet.
Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for
10
to
12 minutes or until brown.
(Biscuits may be dipped in melted butter before placing on baking sheet.)
