Date Nut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks oleo or butter
2 (8 oz.) boxes chopped dates
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 pkg. frozen coconut or 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation

Combine butter, dates, coconut and sugar.
Cook on medium heat until melted.
Let cool; stir in nuts and Rice Krispies.
Let cool enough where you can hold in your hands.
Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
