Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1 can water
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder or to suit taste
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in Crisco.
    Add onion and cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Add rest of ingredients, and stir well. Cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
