Quick Fudge Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix in pan, sugar and cocoa.
    Add butter, milk, syrup and salt.
    Stir and bring to a full boil.
    Boil vigorously, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes.
    Cocoa syrup must become thick and coat the spoon.
    (So be sure the mixture boils hard.)
    Cool.
    Beat in powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Add 1 cup nuts.
    It is usually ready to spread after it is mixed well.
    If not, let stand a few minutes, then spread.
