Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. raisins, soaked in hot water, drain
    1 c. fresh coconut
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients; set aside.
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs and buttermilk; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients; mix well.
    Add jam, coconut, raisins, vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into floured and greased cake pans.
    Will probably have to use at least 3 cake pans.
    Can use four.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool on rack for 10 minutes before turning out of pans.
    Cool completely.
