Seven Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. whole kernel corn, drained (save liquid)
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 lb. uncooked ground beef
    1 can tomato paste
    1/4 c. water
    4 strips bacon, cut in half
Preparation
    In greased 2-quart casserole, add layers as given:
    rice and corn.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Mix tomato paste and water and pour over all.
    Add onion and chopped green pepper.
    Add ground beef.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add second can of tomato paste mixed with 1/2 cup water.
    Cover with strips of bacon.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Uncover and bake 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
    Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
