Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt in saucepan.
Add part of milk to dissolve, then add egg yolks and rest of milk.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and coconut. Pour in pie shell.
Top with meringue and place in 400\u00b0 oven. Brown egg whites about 5 minutes; coconut may be sprinkled on top of egg whites before browning.
