"Voithino Me Fasoulakia" - Beef With Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. chuck beef, cut into chunks
1/4 c. oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small can tomato paste
1 c. fresh or canned tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 lb. green beans
Preparation

Heat oil and onion in a pot until lightly browned.
Add meat; stir until brown.
(Add water if it gets dry.)
Add tomato paste, salt and pepper; add enough water to cover meat.
Cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
(If fresh beans, wash them and snap them in halves.) Put them over meat, then put chopped tomatoes over meat.
Add enough water to cover vegetables; cook until vegetables are done. Serves 4 to 6 people.
