Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. cornmeal
3/4 tsp. salt
3 beaten egg yolks
3 beaten egg whites
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine milk and cornmeal and cook together until thick.
Add the salt and the egg yolks.
Fold in egg whites and sugar.
Pour into buttered pan, bake 30 minutes in moderate oven.
