Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. bacon fat
1 onion
1 lb. hamburger
1 clove garlic
2 cans red kidney beans
2 cans tomatoes
1 Tbsp. chili powder
dash of Tabasco sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Melt bacon fat in bottom of a large pot or kettle.
Add chopped onion and hamburger; brown for a couple of minutes, until onion becomes transparent.
Add garlic.
Stir in beans, tomatoes and seasonings.
Simmer for several hours, until desired thickness.
