Maine Blueberry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. blueberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 slices buttered white bread, crusts trimmed and sprinkled with cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients 10 minutes.
    Layer slices of buttered bread with blueberry mixture in loaf pan.
    Chill in refrigerator several hours.
    Slice and serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
