Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 1/2 c. corn chips
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can refried beans
2 oz. (1/2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

In skillet, brown ground beef.
Add 1 1/2 cups of the tomato sauce and the taco seasoning mix.
Stir to mix well.
Line bottom of an 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish with 2 cups of the corn chips; crush the remaining chips and set aside.
Spoon meat mixture over corn chips.
Combine the remaining tomato sauce and the refried beans.
Spread over cooked ground beef mixture.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until mixture is heated through.
Sprinkle the Cheddar cheese and crushed corn chips on top and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Makes 6 servings.
