Rhubarb Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 c. rhubarb, cubed
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 yellow cake mix
1 c. hot water
1 stick oleo, melted
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Layer the first 4 ingredients in order given.
Do not stir.
Combine the water, oleo and extract and pour over the layers in pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, or until light brown.
If desired, serve with vanilla ice cream.
