Homemade Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground meat
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. Campbell's tomato juice
1 to 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney or pinto beans
sour cream, sliced green onions, shredded cheese and chopped tomato (for garnish)
Preparation

In 6-quart Dutch oven, over medium-high heat, cook ground meat, green pepper and onion with chili powder and pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender, stirring to separate meat.
Add tomato juice and beans; heat to boiling.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover; cook 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Makes 6 cups or 6 servings.
