Everlasting Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium green cabbage, shredded
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 chopped red pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and spices.
    Boil for 3 minutes. Immediately pour over vegetables and mix well.
    Refrigerate and mix from time to time.
    This slaw can be made ahead and will last for weeks in the refrigerator.
