Corinne'S Swedish Meatballs(From Bombay, 1965) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 lb. ground fresh pork
    6 slices whole wheat bread, cubed finely
    1 egg
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients; knead until tight.
    Make small balls. Brown in skillet with small amount Mazola until crusty.
    Put into large saucepan in which are 2 cups boiling water and 2 beef bouillons.
    Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove some of broth; stir in flour to make gravy.
    Pour pack into pan; reheat.
    Serve with scalloped potatoes or egg noodles, or, if buffet, with potato salad.
    Serves 4.
