Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 stalk celery
    1 green pepper
    2 lb. country sausage
    1 c. rice
    2 pkg. chicken noodle soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Brown sausage and drain. Cut vegetables finely and saute in part of sausage drippings.
    Bring 4 1/2 cups water to boil.
    Add rice and packages of soup (dehydrated).
    Cook until rice is done. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    The last 15 minutes, spread cream of mushroom soup over top and cover with slivered almonds.
    Serves 12 to 14.
