Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. liquid shortening
    3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Melt yeast in water.
    Mix all ingredients and make a workable dough.
    Knead slightly and roll over to 1/2-inches thick on floured board.
    Cut in desired shapes.
    Brush with melted butter. Cook at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Refrigerate unused dough until ready to cook.
