Banana-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 bananas, mashed
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. warm water
2 c. plain flour
dash of salt
nuts
Preparation

Cream melted shortening and sugar together.
Add eggs.
Mix. Add bananas.
Stir baking soda and warm water together and add to mixture.
Add plain flour, salt and nuts.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
Insert toothpick in center to check if done.
