German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. cooked, cubed potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon, diced and fried crisp
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
pepper and salt
1 1/3 c. hot water
2/3 c. white vinegar
Preparation

Fry bacon over high heat.
Remove bacon and reserve bacon grease.
Saute onion in grease until tender. Add sugar, flour, salt and pepper. Stir until smooth. Gradually add water and vinegar.
Cook over medium heat until thickened.
Add to potatoes and bacon.
Serve warm.
