Wild Duck Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 wild duck, plucked
    celery and onion trimmings
    8 peppercorns
    5 cloves garlic, peeled
    water
    1 large pan cornbread
    3 slices white bread
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken and rice soup
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. chopped green onion tops
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a
    3-quart
    saucepan,
    add
    duck, trimmings, peppercorns, garlic and
    enough water to completely cover.
    Bring to a boil; cover, lower
    heat
    and simmer 3 hours.
    Remove duck. Strain broth and set aside.
