Caramel Layer Choco-Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    50 light caramels (14 oz.)
    1/3 c. plus 3 Tbsp. evaporated milk
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
    Set aside.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, nuts and 3 tablespoons evaporated milk.
    Stir until dough holds together.
    Press half into pan; reserve other half.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
