Walnut Cream Cheese Brownies - cooking recipe

4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate and set aside to cool.
Cream butter; gradually add 2 cups sugar, beating well.
Add 3 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir melted chocolate into mixture.
Add flour, salt, walnuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla, mixing well.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan and set aside.
