Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. mashed bananas
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Mash bananas and add lemon juice; mix well.
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
Alternately add flour and milk.
Beat after each addition.
Fold in bananas. Pour into two 5 x 9-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves.
