Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. Uncle Ben's converted rice
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil and saute onions and green pepper. Add ground beef. Brown well. Add remaining ingredients. Stir and cover tightly. Cook over high heat until steaming. Reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is cooked, stirring occasionally.
