Bake While You Sleep Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    2/3 c. sugar
    pinch of cream of tartar
    pinch of salt (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chocolate chips or chocolate mints
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy; gradually add sugar and cream of tartar.
    Continue beating until stiff.
    Add salt, vanilla, chips and nuts.
    Mix together well.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Drop dough on ungreased foil topped cookie sheet by teaspoon.
    Place cookies in oven (2 cookie sheets on 2 levels) and immediately turn oven off. Leave cookies in closed oven overnight.
    Makes 4 dozen.
